The JSAT is a Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) test. It has 120 questions and needs to be completed in 120 minutes. There are no negative marks for wrong answers. It is divided into three sections:
JGU accepts the SAT, ACT, and LSAT-India for all Undergraduate Programmes excepting 5-Year Law [Only LSAT-India] and B. Arch [NATA and JEE]. BBA (Hons.) and 5 year Integrated BBA (Hons.) – MBA also accepts the UGAT-2019 Examination. Applicants who have not taken any of these tests will need to complete the JSAT.
The JSAT is not a traditional competitive examination. It is an assessment test for us to understand your performance level now. It is not a test that you necessarily need coaching or extensive preparation though we do recommend that you complete the sample questions we have provided in order to understand the format.
Each programme gives different weightages to different sections for a final total. Applicants must receive a 55% weighted score to be considered for admission. For more about weightages, please ask your admissions counsellor.
